- Use impact, sensory play and restraint with skill, and know why you're choosing them
- Stay grounded in yourself, including when something doesn't go to plan
Professional takes you further: the depth to work with the nervous system, shadow and attachment, the edge arts, and a professional practice built on screening, ethics and a clear plan for your business.

Gather
Sixty minutes live with Tash, every teaching week.
You bring the questions your learning and practice raise, and Tash answers them in depth, demonstrating when an answer needs showing.
Every call is recorded, so you never miss a thing.

Watch
Every week a new pre-recorded video lesson drops, with a workbook to go with it. Watch it in your own time, before that week's live call with Tash.
Core also includes four two-hour recorded workshops, and Professional includes six.

Practise
Real work between sessions: reflection, written exercises and practical application, so what you learn becomes something you can actually do.

The bonus library
A whole second course on top of the weekly program: complete practical-skills modules, open from the day the course begins, so you can go deeper into the genres and dynamics that excite you, your partner or your clients.

Late January to late May 2027
The foundation every Dominant needs, and the part almost no one has been taught. Whether you lead in your own relationship, your community or a professional practice, Core gives you the psychology of power exchange, intention, the container, and the architecture of an experience designed with purpose. If you've been working professionally for years, this is the work your training skipped. Core closes with Dominant by Design Core certification.
Professional · Six and a half months
Late January to mid-August 2027
Everything in Core, then the Advanced Term. The depth strand covers the nervous system, shadow work and attachment. The edge arts take you into the psychological end of the work. The professional practice covers positioning, offers, screening, client care, ethics and the law. It closes with Dominant by Design Professional certification.
Every Professional trainee completes Core first, because everything in the Advanced Term is built on it.

Seven blocks across two terms. Every block opens with the psychology and lands in practice.
CORE TERM · WEEKS 1–8
Who is in the room, and the container
Block 1 · Who is in the room
- The psychology of power exchange
- The submissive's intentions and types, read before anything else
- Your Dominant archetype, your Dominant persona, and where persona ends and person begins
Block 2 · The container
- Negotiation and consent, done properly
- Reading the body, and what the first ninety seconds tell you
- Safety, anatomy, risk and first aid in a two-hour workshop
CORE TERM · WEEKS 9–16
Architecture, and practice in your hands
Block 3 · Architecture
- Intentions: why the same activity becomes a completely different experience, and how to choose
- The Command & Consequence workshop: voice, language, protocol, reward, and what follows when an agreement is broken
- The Architecture workshop: the arc, the threshold, the descent and the return, including Dominant drop
Block 4 · Practice in your hands
- Impact

- Restraint and rope in a two-hour workshop
- Your first experiences, planned from negotiation to debrief

Tash Mia
Tash Mia spent a decade in corporate with an MBA, doing everything she was told would make her powerful. Then she walked away.
Her first year as a Domme taught her more about power, psychology and people than ten years of boardrooms ever did. She learned that power done honestly is grounded and attentive, and that it holds everyone in the room.
Today she is a professional Dominatrix with clients from all over the world, and a kink coach to people exploring power exchange in their own lives and relationships. This is her daily practice, and it's what she teaches from.
For years she has trained Dommes one-on-one, in Australia and around the world. She is also a VITA-certified transformational coach, which is why Dominant by Design trains the woman as well as the practice. Everything from that private work lives in this program, rebuilt for a room of women learning together.
